Star Wars fans are excited that Billy Dee Williams is coming back to the Star Wars franchise, as he's getting ready for that return in the most Billy Dee way possible. The actor recently released a short clip of himself getting into the physical shape to play Lando Calrissian again, and it turns out that Billy Dee Williams so cool that he even works out in shades. Check it out.

Billy Dee Williams says in the post on Twitter that he's feeling better than ever and he's certainly looking good throwing punch after punch at Gunnar Peterson, the personal trainer to the stars that is getting Billy Dee screen ready. While the actor may not look ready to star in the next Rocky movie, he still looks pretty damn good for an 81-year-old actor. He's the last guy in his 80s I'd want to mess with.

Of course, Billy Dee Williams built a reputation over the years of being one cool guy, so of course, he wouldn't bother taking off his sunglasses to workout. That wouldn't be cool enough. Although I can't decide if I like that, or the fact that his workout clothes have his initials, better.

Billy Dee Williams has been working with a personal trainer for some time. In fact, it was his admission that he was doing so that first got the rumor mill going about the possibility of a return to Star Wars. The fact that Williams was working out in the months prior to production starting on Star Wars Episode IX had many wondering if the timing wasn't a coincidence. As it turned out, it wasn't. After being apparently confirmed in the trades, Lucasfilm revealed that Billy Dee Williams would, in fact, be returning to play Lando Calrissian in Star Wars Episode IX. Of course, that doesn't mean we have the first clue how Lando will reenter the story, or where he's been for the last two movies.

It's going to be great to see Lando again, if only because the current Star Wars universe is now somewhat devoid of our favorite characters. While we know that Mark Hamill will be returning, one doesn't expect that a character who is likely now a Force Ghost will have a major role. We also know that Carrie Fisher will be back in Episode IX via the use of deleted scenes from the previous two movies. Though, that too will likely limit how big a part Leia will have. At this point, the only original trilogy mainstay who will likely be really involved in the story is Chewbacca, so bringing Lando back in will be nice for the old school fans. Star Wars Episode IX is now in production and will hit theaters in December 2019.

Spoilers ahead for Avengers: Infinity War.

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a giant behemoth of superheroes, there are certain characters that stand out among the rest. Spider-Man is one of those favorites, despite Tom Holland's short tenure in the MCU. While much of the MCU after Avengers 4 is a mystery to the public, we know that Spider-Man: Homecoming's upcoming sequel will be the first film post-phase three. Obviously any plot details have the potential to spoil the contents of Avengers 4, but some of the first teases from the upcoming sequel have been revealed. Namely, that we should expect big changes to Spider-Man's suit. As Homecoming's costume designer Louise Frogley recently revealed,

I am not actually working on that film, but the costumes will have very big changes because, in the film, Spider-Man becomes more like man and not teenager.

It looks like Peter Parker is going to be getting a superhero suit that is more fitting for an older hero. And considering the trauma and intergalactic adventure that Spidey had in Infinity War, he's likely going to be shaken from his first bonafide mission as an Avenger.

Louise Frogley's comments to India West are sure to make sense to anyone who saw Avengers: Infinity War. Spider-Man had a fairly large arc in the Russo Brothers' ensemble film, joining Tony Stark in pursuing Thanos into space. This brings him all the way to Titan, where he'd able to link up with heroes like Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Spider-Man was ultimately one of the myriad characters who simply ceased to exist once Thanos acquired all the Infinity Stones. Peter's apparent death brought one of Infinity War's most heartbreaking moments, as the teenaged superhero begged for his life to his mentor, Tony Stark. It's currently unclear if/how Peter will eventually be brought back from the dead, but there's no way the character is going to come back unscathed. Plus, what about Aunt May? Did she end up alone in this world?

Peter Parker's three film arc in the MCU has been very much about growing up, with his suit often reflecting that journey. While he was stopping petty crime in Queens, Peter wore a homemade costume. He was eventually gifted a high tech suit when recruited by Tony Stark, which attempted to monitor his progress and slowly unlock its abilities. Ultimately the gloves came off with Infinity War, as the Iron Spider suit allowed him to truly unleash his abilities alongside Iron Man's tech.

While it's unclear exactly how Spider-Man will rejoin the MCU and lead his own solo movie with Spider-Man: Homecoming's sequel, whats is clear is how much the fans have responded to the character. And with so many Marvel leads possibly leading the universe after Avengers 4, he may be the saving grace the shared universe needs. Spider-Man: Homecoming's sequel will arrive on July 5th, 2019. Why Captain Marvel Is Set In The Nineties

We're currently in the midst of an extremely exciting time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase Three has been going off without a hitch, with each blockbuster being both a critical and box office success. With Black Panther in the rear view and making tons of money, the time has come to look to the future of the shared universe. One of the most exciting upcoming blockbusters is Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck's Captain Marvel, which will bring Brie Larson's superhero into live-action for the first time. The film is going to be set in the 1990's, and know we know why this choice was made. Namely, it's to set up Nick Fury's trajectory toward forming The Avengers years later. As Marvel studios head honcho tells it:

We wanted to explore a period before Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury had any idea about any of the other heroes and crazy stuff going on in the world. You know, we first met Nick when he told Tony, 'You're part of a big universe. You just don't know yet.' Well, we want to go back to a time when he didn't know it yet, and really showcase and announce that Carol Danvers was that first hero that Nick came across.

Now this is exciting, and helps make Captain Marvel an even more fascinating upcoming project. In addition to serving as an origin story for one of the shared universe's most powerful characters, it'll also greatly expand Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury. Since he's been missing since his appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron, it makes his upcoming role even more enticing.

Captain Marvel's 90s setting is one of the ways the film is hoping to set itself apart from the rest of the MCU, and get moviegoers excited to hit theaters. While casual audiences may be excited to return to the decade of boy bands and grunge, Captain Marvel predating the rest of the shared universe has the potential for major implications in the greater MCU. Fans were hoping that her interaction with Nick Fury would be the catalyst for forming The Avengers, and it looks like those theorists were right.

Kevin Feige's comments to EW seem to prove how methodically Marvel Studios has been taking their approach to new blockbusters. While the DC Extended Universe is still attempting to formulate a concrete vision and release schedule, Marvel hasn't had a misstep in years. Each blockbuster offers something new to the table, and the overall planning and connective tissue between franchises has been accomplished through deliberate storytelling. Nick Fury will finally return to the shared universe, where fans will get a closer look into his psyche in the years before he eventually showed up in 2008's Iron Man.

Captain Marvel will arrive in theaters March 6, 2019, although many fans are hoping she pops up in Infinity War. In the meantime, check out our 2018 release list to plan your next trip to the movies.
